Why
I've Sat in the Chair You're In Now
I started Lattice because I’ve lived the complexity of buying, growing, and exiting businesses—on both sides of the table.
At Caliber Collision, I worked on 7- and 8-figure transactions, both single-location and multi-location acquisitions. I helped identify, negotiate, and close deals that aligned with our long-term strategy—always working closely with sellers to make the transition as smooth as possible. Our growth wasn’t just acquisition-based; I also helped lead greenfield development and expansion strategy, focusing capital in markets with the highest potential upside. It was high-stakes, high-volume growth—and it taught me the importance of strategic focus, execution discipline, and real empathy for the people behind the numbers.
I bring structure, not pressure. Strategy, not spin. Just real, hands-on guidance from someone who’s been in your shoes.
I also know what it’s like to build from the ground up. As the founder of Dents.co, I built a B2B software platform from scratch, managing an offshore development team, securing two patents, and growing the product. It was a crash course in product, pricing, hiring, and resilience. And ultimately, I made the tough decision to shut it down—because the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze, and I wanted to spend more time with my family.
Before all of that, I joined AutoBody Express, a business my father started, and helped scale it alongside him. In 2018, I bought the company and led a new phase of growth—developing and launching a franchise model, expanding into new markets, and ultimately building the business to five locations, 100 employees, and $20 million in annual revenue. We sold to Caliber Collision after a successful multi-year run.
I’ve bought. I’ve sold. I’ve built from scratch. I’ve scaled someone else’s vision. I’ve made mistakes and hard calls—and I’ve seen what happens when the stakes are high, and clarity is hard to come by.
That’s why I do this work: to help other owners, operators, and investors navigate these same decisions with confidence. No pressure. No pitch. Just smart, honest guidance—and a partner who’s been there.
